ULI Europe real estate trends conference is a an annual review of industry trends and key topics. How to get there:
Fly to London City Airport
The Centre is within 5 minutes by taxi of London City Airport which serves over 30 destinations across the UK, Europe and
the USA, with connections to the rest of the world through major European hubs.
By Underground and Docklands Light Railway(DLR)
DLR stop: Royal Victoria Station (Zone 3) is a 3 minute walk from the venue
From Central London, take the eastbound Jubilee Line and change onto the DLR at Canning Town taking the Beckton line.
Royal Victoria Station is the first stop. Alternatively, several London Underground lines also connect to the DLR at Bank
and Tower Gateway.
From Royal Victoria Station (DLR) by foot (3 min)
To reach the Centre from the DLR, turn right out of Royal Victoria Station onto Seagull Lane. As you pass the Pumping
Station you will come to a small roundabout and will see the Crystal straight ahead of you.
By Cable Car
You can get to the Crystal direct via the Emirates Air Line Cable Car from the Greenwich peninsular. Take the underground (Jubilee line) to North Greenwich station and follow the sinage to the cable car (2 minute walk). The cable car stops outside the Crystal.
By Car
The Centre is just off Silvertown Way (A1011) at its junction with Lower Lea Crossing (A1020). It is outside the London Congestion Zone but inside London’s Low Emission Zone. Access to the Centre is from the roundabout on Tidal Basin Road.
Parking
The Royal Victoria Car Park (L2) is a five minute walk away and is located behind the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Western Gateway.

Sir Stuart Lipton
Lipton is has been a commercial developer since late 1960's. He is responsible for over 25 million sq/ft of development in over 50 projects including Broadgate, Stockley Park, Chiswick Park and the Treasury.
Lipton was Chief Executive of Stanhope Plc from 1983 – 2006 and Deputy Chairman of Chelsfield Partners LLP. He now has a new venture, Lipton Rogers LLP.
He was the founding Chairman of the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment and a member of the Royal Fine Art Commission. He has been a Board member of the National Theatre and the Royal Opera House and has been involved in many other public buildings.

Greg Lindsay
Lindsay is a contributing writer for Fast Company and co-author of the international bestseller Aerotropolis: The Way We’ll Live Next. He is a visiting scholar at New York University’s Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management studying mobility and connectivity, and is a fellow of the World Policy Institute.
His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, The Financial Times, McKinsey Quarterly, and Fortune, among many others.
His work with Studio Gang Architects on the future of suburbia was on display at MoMA from February through August 2012. He is currently working with UCLA’s cityLAB to re-imagine the economy and urbanism of the Ecuadorean Amazon. He has advised Intel, Audi, Chrysler, FedEx, Teague, and André Balazs Properties.
Lindsay is a two-time Jeopardy! champion (and the only human to go undefeated against IBM’s Watson).
Pedro Miranda

Miranda is Corporate Vice President of Siemens AG and Head of Corporate Development Siemens ONE in Munich, since 2008. This Corporate Unit has the governance of 14 Siemens Market Development Boards and oversees Business Development topics in 55 countries. Special responsibilities are Member of the Sales Board and member of the Sustainability Advisory Board of Siemens AG.
Miranda started his career at General Motors Corporation as production engineer, joining Siemens in 1983 as manufacturing engineer. Previous Management positions at Siemens Regensburg, Erlangen and Lisbon included Manufacturing Development and Systems Engineering.
Responsible for Project Management and International Sales for large Infrastructure Projects in Qatar and the Middle-East he headed several General Management positions in the Industry Sector and was member of the CEC in Portugal.
Miranda holds a Diploma degree in Electrical and Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, USA, and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He is a REFA specialist by REFA Institute Darmstadt and graduate in Engineering Management Program from the Krannert School of Management, US. He was AFS scholarship recipient in New York, US.
William Rucker

After studying politics and economics at Bristol University, Rucker qualified as a Chartered Accountant and was with Arthur Anderson until joining Lazard in 1987.
He has been the Chief Executive of Lazard London since June 2004 and has enormous experience as a senior banker in the real estate, retail and other sectors.
He has been Non-Executive Chairman of Quintain Estates and Development plc since October, 2009 and Chairman, Crest Nicholson Plc since September 2011. He served as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Rentokil Initial plc for six years until March this year.
